Status of Duel Abby

So first Dev Log post for Duel Abby, Yay! 

I posted a prototype a while back, and I discovered some very annoying issues with the game design that I would like to address today in this post, along with where I am at, and what the process has been like - just in case you never got to play it, I have decided to upload it to this page, but please note that it does not represent where the game is currently going.

I designed the prototype with a 100% mirrored/even playing field, the player and the AI played by the same rules (more or less), which would have been kinda great, except the game was dull, and easy to cheese.
So I thought LONG and HARD about it, and after a detour where I just infused a story into what basically was the same mechanics - I decided a more fun way of building the game, was to have different rules for Abby, and Drake, that would make it easier for me to balance the difficulty of the game, because I could boost Drake or Abby isolated.
That lead me to the idea that Abby would be only using potions, running around in the potions lab, collecting ingredients and brewing potions once she had all the ingredients she wanted. Meanwhile Drake would chase her around trying to hit her with spells.

In my mind, this was the ultimate vision for what I wanted for Duel Abby, but the scope was really big, and would have taken eternities to create. Instead I decided to scale back. I Changed the game to a Card Game, where Drake draws random spells, and Abby draws random ingredients. Then the player will try to subdue/strip Abby, while Abby will try to transform/Lewd out Drake.

I'll start by making a demo, in the demo you will be dueling Britt a student of House Piscellon. She will only have spells that subdue herself (she is a submissive gal), while Drake has spells that will subdue her as well, which means you will win in the demo, and be able to enjoy some lewd animations.

Once the demo (which will work as a tutorial) is done, I will start working on the actual Abby Duel.
